You will need to drill an extra hole below the existing holes to give these poles more stability. These poles are expensive but worth the investment. You can reach great heights using these poles to prune.

You might have to modify these heads to fit your poles. The link above is the exact manufacturer I ordered from, but I have had these pruning heads for many years.

The straight shaft weedeater allows you to add attachments to the end, such as a polesaw or hedgetrimmer.

Here is the hedge trimmer attachment that fits on the end of a straight shaft device (It does not have to be a weedeater). You can also use attachments on the straight shaft polesaw. Attaching the hedge trimmer attachment to a polesaw gives you great reach to trim tall shrubs.

A must have for emergency situations. Stops the bleeding on large cuts. I had a worker cut his hand with a chainsaw. This product stopped the bleeding instantly.

Gas-powered concrete saw. Great to have if you cut a lot of pavers. You can also use a chisel and hammer to cut stone. Gas-powered saws are expensive, but worth the investment.

A Walker mower with a narrow deck is my pick for a riding mower. The narrow width 32″ allows you to fit through most standard fence gates. They make yards look great.

Blue-tagged seed is the best seed to use. It has less weeds in the mixture than more common grass seed bags.

Blake’s Hitch Knot. Great knot that does not loosen once set and cliched down. Only way to loosen is grab the knot and pull backwards.

As the time of this writing 8/27/24 Lowes sells 50lbs. of blue-tagged certified seed for $189.98. Landscape stores sell this exact seed bags for $96. You get a greater value for your money if you buy grass seeds from companies like Tractor Supply, Southern States and specialty stores like Green Resources, which is in my area of North Carolina.
